  • Service refers to the website.
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the service or from the service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
  • Website refers to Text To Svg, accessible from texttosvg.app

2. Information Collection and Use

2.1 Personal Data

The Text to SVG generator performs font processing and path generation in your browser. This means:

  • Your text content is not uploaded to our servers
  • All text transformation processes happen in your browser
  • We cannot access your input text or generated content
  • We do not collect your personal text data or sensitive information

If you choose to use the feedback form, the feedback description, optional email address, current page, browser user-agent, and submission time are sent to our server and then to our team workspace so that we can review and respond. Do not include confidential text, generated artwork, or other sensitive information in feedback.

2.2 Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the service.

Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When you access the service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

2.3 Analytics Data

We use self-hosted Plausible Analytics and may use Google Analytics when it is configured. Depending on the service and your consent choices, analytics data may include:

  • Page views
  • Approximate geographic location (country/region level, not precise GPS data)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type
  • User session information

This data helps us improve the quality of our service.

3. Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our service.

The technologies we use may include:

  • Cookies or Browser Cookies: A cookie is a small file placed on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
  • Functional Storage: This storage can remember choices such as theme, language, and privacy preferences. We do not offer user accounts or store login details.
  • Analytics Cookies: These cookies are used to collect anonymous information about website usage.

4. Data Processing

  • Text transformation happens entirely on your device
  • Generated text variations are displayed directly in your browser
  • We do not store the text entered into the generator
  • All processing is completed in the local browser environment
  • Feedback that you voluntarily submit is processed by our server and team notification provider; it is separate from text-to-path generation

5. Use of Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our service, including to monitor the usage of our service
  • To improve our service: Use data analysis to improve website functionality and user experience
  • To respond to feedback: To contact you when you voluntarily provide an email address with a bug report, improvement idea, or feature request
  • For data analysis: To identify usage trends, determine the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our service

6. Retention of Personal Data

We do not retain the text entered into the generator because it is processed in your browser.

For limited analytics and feedback data, we retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the service or to respond to your request.

7. Transfer of Personal Data

The text entered into the generator is not transferred to our servers. Analytics events and feedback that you voluntarily submit may be processed in locations where our service providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service involved.

8. Security of Personal Data

The security of your information is important to us. Keeping text-to-path processing in the browser reduces exposure because the generator text is not uploaded to our server.

For the limited data we do collect (such as analytics data), we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Third-Party Services

We may use the following service providers:

  • Plausible Analytics (self-hosted website analytics)
  • Google Analytics (optional website analytics when configured)
  • TinyAdz / ApiTiny (advertising delivery, fraud prevention, and ad engagement measurement)
  • Google AdSense (advertising and ad measurement when enabled)
  • Feishu (delivery of feedback that you voluntarily submit)
  • Hosting, content-delivery, and security providers (site delivery and protection)

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. The exact services that receive data depend on which features are enabled and which actions you take.

TinyAdz may process page URL and referrer, viewport and time-zone information, ad impressions, and interaction signals such as scrolling, clicks, pointer movement, page visibility, and orientation changes. It may use browser storage to control ad frequency and can display inline, corner, or full-screen advertising formats according to its site configuration.

9.1 Google Advertising Cookies

TextToSVG may show advertising through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to help serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve ad quality.

Third-party vendors, including Google and its partners, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to TextToSVG and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. You can also learn more about third-party advertising choices at aboutads.info, where available.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

If we use additional third-party advertising vendors or ad networks, we will identify them in this Privacy Policy or provide links to their own privacy and opt-out information where applicable.

9.2 Consent for Google Products

Where required by law, including for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we ask for consent before using non-essential Google advertising or analytics storage. You can accept or reject non-essential Google storage in the privacy choices interface. If you reject non-essential storage, Google advertising and analytics storage remains denied where supported by Google Consent Mode. Before serving Google ads in regions where Google requires it, we will also use a Google-certified consent management platform.

Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
